The book, "Impressions of an
Irish Countess (The photography of Mary, Countess of Rosse)",
by David H. Davidson proved invaluable in the compilation of this
section of the Birr Castle Web site. This book was published by
The Birr Scientific Heritage Foundation in 1989 and provides great
detail on the work of Mary Rosse, as well as excellent reproductions
of some of her finest images.
